So....I've been out of town mostly since my last post. There's a lot to catch my dear blog up on! I've been eating a plant-based diet for a month now and have lost 20 lb! Yay! All without counting a single calorie or going to the gym. I've been focusing on changing one habit at a time. I don't want to take too much on at once and get overwhelmed. Eating, obviously, was the biggest detriment to my health, so I tackled that first. Now, I am going to tackle exercising and drinking water. I've been trying to haul myself to the gym, but it just hasn't been working. :( I don't really like the gym much. Instead, I've been going for walks in the park. I love doing that. It's so peaceful. It's hard to be anything but peaceful when surrounded by nature! In fact, I would say my life is downright serene nowadays! We will see if it stays that way when I start school again! LOL I feel so much lighter though especially in my shoulders and midsection.
