ABC Shake

This is one of my all-time favorite treats! I am trying to lose weight though, and have cut back on any extraneous calories. Sigh. Therefore, I'm sharing this recipe with the blogosphere, hoping someone might try it and love it! :D The name comes from, well, it's easy as ABC, 123....got it stuck in your head yet? ;) Oh, and it's main ingredients are Almond butter, Bananas, and Chocolate! Yum!

ABC Shake
*generously serves 1 (or with normal portion sizes 2)

2 Tbsp. almond butter
1 banana
1/2 cup chocolate chips (hey, I didn't say this would be low-cal, but it's YUMMY!)
1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
1 cup Rice Dream rice milk (or any other non-dairy milk substitute)
*optional: 1 Tbsp. protein powder (if you want to make it a meal)
Ice cubes (amount up to personal taste)

Blend it all up in a blender and enjoy! :)

Holy yum that sounds like my kind of shake! I've just found you via the kind life, I'm a new vegetarian (hopefully to become vegan eventually) I've been losing weight and cleaning up my eats for the past couple of years and after reading the kind diet I knew it was the next step for me.
